Chamber presents business excellence awards

Prizes included small and large business, community impact, newcomers, and young entrepreneurs

Several Miramichi-area businesses have received awards from the Greater Miramichi Chamber of Commerce for excellence in entrepreneurship and community service.

The chamber presented the awards at its 24th annual Business Excellence Awards and Gala on Jan. 20 at the Rodd Miramichi River Hotel.

In a post on its Facebook page, the chamber stated that bringing people together post-pandemic after a four-year hiatus was “a significant achievement.”

“It was rewarding to witness the business community networking, reconnecting, and celebrating in person and we hope you feel the momentum from this celebration,” the post states. “We are so proud of our award recipients. Thank you for inspiring our city and our region.”
