A non-profit housing group is preparing to open a building supplies and furniture store in Miramichi where customers can shop in support of the organization.

Habitat for Humanity will be setting up a ReStore location this summer at 2368 King George Hwy., in the former village of Douglastown. The store will be in the same building as Rice King Restaurant and Branded on the Boulevard.

Habitat New Brunswick CEO Perry Kendall said the group is happy to be setting up shop in the region.
