Mayor discusses State of the City at inaugural event
Speech hosted at Rodd Miramichi River Hotel in partnership with chamber

Labour force and population growth, housing, homelessness, development, finances, the multiplex, and infrastructure were among many topics highlighted by Miramichi Mayor Adam Lordon at the inaugural State of the City address.
Lordon discussed various highlights as of late and challenges facing the municipality at the sold-out event co-hosted by the city and Greater Miramichi Chamber of Commerce on Thursday morning at the Rodd Miramichi River Hotel.
Lordon and Patti Somers, the chamber’s executive director, began brainstorming for the event a year ago. The mayor said he was inspired by similar events held in other cities around the province to inform citizens and business leaders about happenings in their communities.
