The Miramichi Mike’s Bar and Grill Northmen will live to fight another day.

The Northmen led 2-0 after the second period and erupted for four goals in the third en route to a 6-0 triumph over the River Valley Lumberjacks in Game 6 of the best-of-seven Beauséjour Senior Hockey League semifinals before a capacity crowd on Tuesday at the Miramichi Civic Centre.

With the win, the Northmen evened up the series at three games apiece and forced a do-or-die Game 7 on Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at Prospect Place Arena in Doaktown for the season’s final Battle of Route 8.
