Rock ‘n Roll Fest announces rebrand, new major sponsor
Festival will now be called Rockin’ River Fest, with Miramichi Kia as major sponsor

MIRAMICHI • A long-running festival in the former town of Newcastle has changed its name and landed a new major sponsor just in time for its first year under the new brand.
The Miramichi Rock ‘n Roll Festival will now be called Rockin’ River Fest. The 2025 event will take place from July 25 to 27, with Miramichi Kia serving as the major sponsor.
The car dealership will be the presenting sponsor of the headlining performance from iconic Ontario rock band Honeymoon Suite on July 26 at 9 p.m.
Downtown Newcastle Business District president Tiffany Gallivan said the new partnership between festival organizers and Miramichi Kia “reflects a shared vision for community development, cultural celebration, and long-term impact.”
“We are thrilled to welcome Miramichi Kia as a major community partner,” she said in a news release. “Their support strengthens our ability to deliver a high-calibre festival experience and reinforces the kind of collaboration that drives growth and vibrancy in our region.”
