MIRAMICHI - The Chatham Miramichi Honda Ironmen have won consecutive games for the second time in the 2025 New Brunswick Senior Baseball League season.

The Ironmen (7-7) defeated the two-time defending champs, the Charlottetown Gaudet’s Auto Body Islanders, 9-6 on June 24 at Victoria Park before beating the Fredericton Simpson Royals 9-4 on June 26 at Ironmen Field.

The contest scheduled for Thursday between the Ironmen and Royals (3-7) in Chatham was rained out. No makeup date has been announced yet.

The recent wins put the Ironmen in third place in the five-team senior circuit. They trail the second-place Islanders (9-5) and league-leading Saint John AJ’s Alpines (7-3) by two games while leading the Moncton Dixie Lee Mets (5-9) and the Royals by two games. The Alpines and Royals currently have four games in hand on Chatham, Charlottetown, and Moncton.
